Langtang Valley
 One can see sky soaring black-rocky mountains from some points of Kathmandu valley, that's where the most holy lakes of Gosainkund lies at the hight of 4200mtr. Legends tells us that, lord Shiva leading god of Hindus created this lake to quench his thrist from a poisin. Every year more than 10,000 pilgrims all over the country visit the holy site specially during the full moon of August. Gosainkund is the meeting point of several trek route to Helambu, Kathmandu, Dhunche and Syabru (from Langtang valley in the north). The view of Himalayan peaks from Annapurna in the west to Gaurishankar in the east from here is awesome. Itinerary
Day 01 :
Kathmandu to Syabrubensi.Days 02-04 : Trekking to Langtang valley. Days 05-06 : Exploration. Day 07 : Trekking to Bamboo. Days 08-10 : Trekking to lake Gosainkunda via Syabru village and Lauribina. Day 11 : Explore the holy places and lakes. Days 12-15 : Trekking to Kathmandu valley via Lauribina pass and Kutumsang. |
