This trek starts from the outskirt of Pokhara valley after a short drive. This is a superb trip offering you easy but exciting short trek to the most picturesque part of Nepal, via “well worn’ tracks. On the trek, you will encounter beautiful villages tucked against the terraced hills with the back drop of giant face of the Annapurnas and beautiful pinnacle of Machapuchhare (Fishtail). You will see many prosperous, busy villages inhabited by Gurungs and Magars. Ghandruk, one of the most beautiful villages in the region, is the model of eco-tourism concept and also the centre for learning local cultures. From Ghandruk, you pass through the largest rhododendron forest to another picturesque village of Ghorepani. A short excursion up from Ghorepani will take you to Poon Hill which at 3100m is bound to be the highlight of your trip.

Poon Hill is considered one of most outstanding places providing the incredible panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri range. Sunrise and sunset here over the mountain range are spectacular. After visiting Poon Hill the trek heads down to Kaligandaki valley to a small hamlet known as Tatopani where you will enjoy a warm bath at the local hot spring. From Tatopani, it's a short day’s walk to road head to return back to Pokhara.

Day 01 : Kathmandu – Pokhara (Air or bus), trek to Dhampus.
Days 02-03 : Trekking to Ghandruk.
Day 04 : Rest and exploration (optional).
Days 05-06 : Trekking to Poon Hill / Ghorepani.
Day 07 : Visit Poon Hill and trek to Tatopani.
Day 08 : Arrive Naya pul and drive to Pokhara.
Day 09 : Pokhara to Kathamndu or Chitwan.
