Annapurna Sanctuary

 Annapurna Sanctuary trek is a journey venturing into a hidden enclave of mountains to the core of Annapurna range. The Sanctuary’s commanding position in the heart of the Annapurnas makes the mountains seem so close, you could reach out and touch them. Annapurna 1 (8,078 m) was the first 8000m mountain to be climbed in 1950. Our goal for this trek is the Annapurna Base Camp lying majestically at the lap of the Sanctuary. Like our Instant Annapurna trek, this trek also starts from Pokhara and winds through subtropical forests and traditional farming villages and into the narrow Modi Khola gorge near the base of Machapuchhare (Fish tail). Considered as one of the most beautiful mountains in the world, Mt. Machapuchhare with its two pinnacles resembles the tail of a fish from a distance, thus the Fish-tail. The views change constantly as you arrive closer to the mountain. You return to Pokhara by an alternate route, concluding a memorable high altitude experience. This trek can also be combined with Ghorepani side of Annapurna Panorama. Itinerary
Day 01 : Kathamndu to Pokhara by bus and trek to Ghandruk.Days 02-06 : Trekking to Machapuchare base camp. Day 09 : Explration of Annapurna base camp. Days 10-11 : Trekking to Ghandruk. Day 12 : Ghandruk Exploration. Day 13 : Trek to Road of Nayapul and back to Pokhara or join the trek to Poon Hill of Annapurna Panorama.. Day 14 : Pokhara to Kathmandu or join for additional trips. |
